What to Expect From Your First Appointment

Your first session with a Registered Dietitian will include an interview and an initial assessment. The dietitian will ask for details about the food you eat, cooking, grocery shopping, and nutrition history. During this one-on-one session you and your dietitian will decide together about next steps.

Registered Dietitians play a vital role in the management of your health. As nutrition experts, it is the ob of the dietitian to remain abreast of the current literature and to provide accurate, medically appropriate information.
